A Color run is a typical 5K run or walk and you are splattered with non-toxic paint at different intervals throughout the race much like a mud run. - How will the color feel when it is thrown at me? Will it hurt? NO!!!! It's painless and messy it feels like being hit with powdered sugar -Do the Kilometer "Color Zones" affect runner vision or breathing? The Color Explosions are basically food grade cornstarch. Some Color runners opt to wear goggles or glasses and/or bandanas to keep the powder out of their eyes and mouth. - There will be High and Low color stations - Bring towels to sit on in your car for your ride home - Keep Phones and Camera well protected - Wear clothes you dont mind getting colorful and the colors are mostly washable BUT you can PRESERVE your articles with the color on them by spraying them with vinegar and iron them. - This is a non sanctioned Walk or Run and the event is not timed so EVERYONE can participate there is no age limit. - Children under 7 do not need to be registered - Please NO animals
